Dr. Lake Garner attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson and has practiced dentistry since 1996. He chose the profession for the chance to work with his hands and spend his days with people, and he built Garner Dental Group from a single small practice. Away from the office he is active in the Hattiesburg community with his wife, Michelle, and their three children.
Dr. Taylor DeHaven earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina. Originally from Northern Virginia, she now calls the Gulf Coast home. Her clinical philosophy centers on patient education, trust, and helping each person feel confident and at ease, shaped by international dental mission trips and Remote Area Medical clinics during her training.

Ask about the VIP Membership Plan: $23 per month or $375 per year covers two routine exams, two cleanings, two fluoride applications, annual X-rays, and one emergency visit, plus 15% off most other treatment (orthodontics and implants excluded). A VIP Perio Plan is $54 per month or $745 per year. CareCredit, Sunbit, and Compassionate Finance payment plans are also available.

Yes. We recommend a first visit once your child's teeth have come in, or by their third birthday. You are welcome to stay with your child for the entire visit, and our hygienists will walk you through brushing, flossing, and fluoride.
Yes. Nitrous oxide, also called laughing gas, is available for any patient who feels anxious. You breathe it through a nose mask, it wears off within a few minutes after treatment, and you can drive yourself home.
